My name is Zach Strout. I'm from a small town in southern Maine named Waterboro...which is aptly named once spring arrives (the town floods...with water). My God and my family are most dear to me. I am in love with a brown eyed girl named Sarah Anne.
I greatly enjoy folk music, the outdoors, coffee, history, antiques, talks with my dad, songwriting, snow, the crisp air of Autumn, vinyls, my beat up guitar, front porches, old men with pipes, the ocean at sunset, Boston, wood floors, the smell of rain in Summer, Moxie, behind the scenes features on DVD's, my mom's baking, watching Seinfeld, hiking through the woods with my brother, Minnetonka moccasins, my New Life family, Bear Grylls, flannel shirts, biking, old homes, going on walks, thunder storms, Maine lobster, Apple, photography, good beards, the Boston Red Sox, watching The Price is Right with my Gram, charcoal grilling, gardening, and being a man.
So that's just a glimpse into my likes, I guess...but I hope that in reading these blog entries, you might get to know who I am...not just what keeps me running.
