The older I get, the more I appreciate my relationship with my mom. With so many memories running through my head on a day like today, I realize that she has grown into, not just a good parent, but also a close friend. So much of who I am today has been shaped by the way my mother raised and guided me. I don't think there's one thing that I'd change, given the chance to go back.
So, here's to a mother who has always been there for me. In the ups and downs life throws us, in the times of growing, the times of change, times of celebration and times of tears...you'll never quite understand what you've done for me.
