to my dad

Today, I remember Biker Mice from Mars. Spying missions on the lawn mower. I remember failed juke moves in the park. I remember near drownings in the lake. Building Legos and then destroying them. Watching The Dukes of Hazard. Haircuts with crazy French barbers. The Toys 'R' Us kid song when Cody threw up Christmas Eve. The 10 hour ending to The Return of the King and too much Pepsi. Hockey in the kitchen. Singing in the EPC choir. Chris Farley (cause Mom doesn't like him). Mr. Food & Mr. Napkin stories on the way to school. Zach & Dad talks. Bean bag rides. Disney. Rides in the cruiser. Wild At Heart. Bonkers. Eighties music in rental cars. The chicken pocks. Dump runs. Nacho Libre. Frozen pizza & french fries. Remember the Titans. Camping in Acadia. And of course Biff and Daddy's trip to Illinois.

Dad, there's not one area of my life that you haven't had the biggest impact. God knew what I would need and gave me exactly that. I wish I could be with you today to watch inspirational football movies all day.
Love ya Dad...

-your son
