and words are futile devices

I'm sitting on my futon in my room after just finishing my "think sheet" from last night (alot came up from the time that I posted last night and when I went to bed), and I'm listening to Sufjan's Age of Adz on vinyl...that man...all I can say is that he's a genius and words are futile devices. Ok, those are his words...but still. He's a beast. I woke up at stupid:30 this morning, yes that is an actual time of day...most people don't see that on the clock 'cause they're asleep, but it occurs! I rolled into the deserted parking lot of our local IGA in the dark of early morning and hi-ho, hi-ho, away to work I...went. That didn't rhyme. Anywho...I just stocked stuff. Stuff like "Everyday Foam Plates" and......um...my mind is honestly blank right now, but I did stock stuff, I swear!! It's a fun place to work.

In other news today, I created a facebook group for diabetics only...except for my roommate. He's not diabetic, but he wishes he were and begged me to allow him into our elite group. There's only four of us on campus and we get together and do cool things all the time like check our blood sugar on other people's meters just to see who's meter is more accurate...yeah, that kind of thing. No, not really. We don't see each other all that much. Or talk about it that much. So I figured I'd make a facebook group to distinguish us from the poor healthy folks out there. I was actually thinking the other day...I should check with God to see if I've still got a warranty on my pancreas cause it didn't last as long as I think it was supposed to and I can't find any for sale on Amazon!

Well, I'm going to head out to see my girlfriend...whom I haven't seen yet today and we've been on the same campus! I'd like to make some coffee to go, but I'm too lazy to clean my french press and a travel mug right now...so I suppose it'll wait until later. As the late Edward R. Murrow so famously said..."Goodnight and good luck."
