these are a few of my favorite things...

So one of my favorite pastimes would be that of antiquing. For those of you who are not familiar with this term, it's basically the hunt for antique treasures...that's pretty much it. It's a great way to pass the time, like when you've got an entire afternoon laying before you with no more classes until 6:30 at night and you live in a small town with 3 antique stores within walking distance from you. That sums up my day. Most of the time, I don't really come across much while perusing the afore mentioned stores, but every once and a while there'll be something unique that catches the eye. I've found cameras, leather folders, fedoras, license plates, signs, vinyls, books...you name it. It's a great way to relax and clear your head. Well today, I stumbled across a few vintage post cards...from Maine!! So of course, I had to pick them up.

I am attending a small Free Methodist college out here in the great Land of Lincoln, and whenever I spot something that remotely reminds me of New England, I get excited. One time, I found a Boston Red Sox pennant from the 50's...needless to say, I didn't have the $45 to drop on it at the time and I've never seen it since. Oh yes, sad day indeed.
